She was a woman to look up to. Smart, funny, and strong. Her amazing life story shows all of us how we can persevere no matter what life throws our way. I look to her for the strength I need when times are hard, because if anything, she taught me to (and I quote) "just suck it up and do it!" Thanks Phyllis you could always just tell it like it was. I promise I will graduate and make you proud. It is because of you I have come so far already. I am thankful to have been a part of your life and will always cherish every moment I got to spend with you. Thanks for all the wonderful stories and memories. I love you Phyllis, and I miss you. Her great smile, her listening power, her ability to always make you feel great, even when she had to tell you things you didn't want to hear. Always knowing how special it was to be loved by her. When I went to visit her today, I told her how beautiful Stella was, how happy you are . I told her how great Celene is doing in school, She would be so proud. All I could say is how happy we all are in our lives and I hope she's happy as well. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out, and will live on in all our memories forever!
